Clawing my way back

It has been over a year since I've logged in.  I owe all those who enjoy my art and explanation.  I won't write a book but I will say the following:

I lost both grandfathers, an uncle, my grandmother, and my father over the span of three years.  My grandmother and father passed in the same year.  I assisted my family in handling my grandmother's estate and was secondary caregiver to my father until his death at home. Physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually exhausted, I didn't realize until having lost my grandmother and dad, just how influential and supportive they were for me in my art.  I lost my drive when I lost them.

But art is in me forever, and I would be letting them down if I didn't acknowledge and pursue it. I've worked hard, I've practiced, and I've grown.
